Urine levels are INCREASED in pernicious anemia and methylmalonicacidemia which is characterized by neurological distress without convulsions (manifesting either immediately following birth or later), acidosis, ketosis and sometimes hyperlactacidemia with hyperammonemia and hyperglycinemia.
